Believe it or not, there are many ZIP Codes in the US with higher rates of unemployment than the 8% national average.  Much higher.  Take the Seattle, Washington ZIP Code 98134, for example.  With a population of just 636 people, this Seattle ZIP Code sports a 58.92% unemployment rate.  That’s over 300 unemployed persons within a single ZIP Code.
